Directions EAP is based out of Lincoln, Nebraska and began in February, 1982 as an internal/external program of Lincoln General Hospital. Our initial flagship companies included local and regional employers, and provided EAP services to companies engaged in health care, construction, banking and manufacturing. Throughout the 80’s and 90’s, Directions EAP grew to provide EAP services to approximately 50-60 companies.
In 1997, Lincoln General Hospital and Bryan Memorial Hospital merged to become Bryan LGH Medical Center. Directions EAP was selected to be the EAP provider for BryanLGH, continued to be an internal/external program, as well as continuing to grow to provide services to nearly 100 companies, including health care, construction, banking, education, nonprofits, retail, manufacturing companies, among others. From 1999 through 2011, we were located at 4915 Old Cheney in Lincoln, NE.
In 2006, BryanLGH and Directions EAP worked together to create Directions EAP, LLC with Tricia Branchaud, Julie Gibson and Kari Hasemann-Herbert as co-owners and managers of the LLC. Our member companies were made aware of the change in ownership and the majority of them chose to move forward with Directions EAP, LLC, citing their level of satisfaction, the importance of continuing the existing relationship and the high level of customer service that they had received from these staff members.
In April, 2012, Directions EAP, LLC moved the office location to 3930 South Street, Suite 101 in Lincoln, NE. We continue to provide services to Bryan Health System and nearly 100 other companies including a wide array of local and national employers, ranging in size from 5 employees to 5,000. We partner with a variety of organizations in business and industry. Because we are employee/owners, we are continually committed to providing customer service that is second to none. References regarding the excellent service record Directions EAP has established with these companies over the years are available on this website.
